Shindengen Electric Manufacturing is releasing the ST20-FY series TVS diodes for in-vehicle equipment.
In recent years, environmentally friendly vehicles, which are rapidly becoming more popular, are equipped with a large number of ECUs, and the space limitations of each component are becoming more pronounced. In addition, as ECUs continue to increase in functionality and complexity, there is a need for more robust protection against negative surges that may cause malfunctions.
For these reasons, TVS diodes used for negative surge protection must be compact and have a high negative surge guarantee.
To meet these needs, Shindengen Electric Manufacturing has launched the ST20-FY series TVS diodes. This product reduces package size by 62.5% compared with conventional products※1 and improves guaranteed negative surge protection by 20% compared with equivalent products of other companies, contributing to downsizing and improving safety of devices.
The wide range of withstand voltages available in the product lineup enables the selection of a product suitable for the corresponding standard.
