Notice of expanded power zener (TVS) lineup (maximum operating voltage: 240 V→320 V)

Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (head office: Ote-machi, Chiyoda-ku) has increased its lineup of high-voltage power zener (TVS) to a withstand voltage of 320 V in response to the increasing demand for higher voltages.

1. Outline

We have been introducing products to various markets in order to respond to their needs,
but recently there has been a significant increase in the use of electronics in automobiles and a need for higher withstand voltages in the circuits,
and this has led to an increased demand for high-voltage, highly reliable protective elements. We have now expanded the starting voltage (VBR) to 320 V for a power dissipation of 1 W (1F package) even in our surge-absorbing power zener diodes which have always been popular.

2. Features

• High reliability to meet the needs of the automotive market
• Based on automotive standard AEC-Q101 (planned to be certified)
• Junction temperature (Tj) guaranteed to 175°C
• Wide range of starting voltages(VBR)from 12 to 320 V
